Bishop Schneider Latin Masses in Winnipeg May 2018

In co-operation with the Society of St. Dominic, the Latin Mass Society of Winnipeg is pleased to announce two public Latin Masses will be celebrated by His Excellency Bishop Athanasius Schneider in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on Wednesday May 30th and Thursday May 31st 2018. Masses will begin at 9:30 am each day at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church located at 250 Burrin Avenue.

April 2016 traditional Parish Mission

5 Day Traditional Parish Mission The 99 Left Behind with Fr Sean Kopczynski MSJB begins Sunday April 3rd to Thursday April 7th 2016 at St Ann's parish, 271 Hampton Street Winnipeg. Please see Mission Calendar or Latest News item for details. 

Evening spiritual conferences (talks) begin at 7:00 pm each night, Sunday through Thursday and last approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes. Confession is available before and after the evening's conference talk. Each night's topic is listed on the right hand side of the conference promotional poster.

You do not have to be a Latin Mass attendee to benefit from this parish mission. Attendance at morning Latin Masses is optional and not required to attend the evening conferences.

In the Extraordinary Form, a Pontifical High Mass is a Solemn or High Mass celebrated by a bishop with the ceremonies prescribed in the Ceremoniale Episcoporum. The last Pontifical High Mass in the Archdiocese of Vancouver was celebrated by His Grace Archbishop Emeritus Adam Exner, OMI, in December 2004, for the priestly ordination of Fr. Joseph Orlowski, FSSP.
